That yellow/blue wire is the one you need for the steering wheels adapter to connect to.

If you go to halfords, MAKE them ring autoleads and find out about an adapter.

and the other side........ is camera shy?

The white and red are pre-outs for an amp. The other is for an airel (however you spell it).

ok. Can you get a pic up of the rear on the HU? There is normaly (<--1 "L" or 2?) there is a small head phone socket on the back. But can't remember what it's like on the back of them.

It's a different adapter. Plus it doesn't work on all HU's. What HU have you got?

I just wana check that once the steering wheel controls come out of manufactor that i will be able to wire that up to this adaptor too as someone has recently told me that i would need a different harnes adaptor for that. :boggle:

This'll be fun for you.

Are you any good with the electrics?

Do you have a multimeter?

On the Vauxhall's HU wireing loom, with your multimeter you'll first need to find the Perminant Live wire. Cut the wire about 3inch from the standard block and connect that to the Red wire.

Now turn your lights on, with your multimeter test all the connections on the vauxhall block for a 12volt supply. When you do find one turn your lights off. If the power goes, Perfect.

Now same again. Cut the wire about 3inch from the standard block and connect that to the Orange wire.

Easy as that

I own a corsa c, 06 plate and am trying to fit a new head unit.

I have bought the facia plate and the ISO harness adaptor leads, but it's confusing me.

There is an orange wire on the adaptor which has illumination written on it where does tihs need to connect to?

If anyone can help that would be great.
It's probably really obvious.:boggle:
