get the remote lead (small blue one) just wack a switch in it! Its low current so u can do it!

I have one on my and i have a swith for both my amps!

my amp goes to my cigarette lighter ignition live...nothing near the boot at all, its only a thin wire u need so wont take much effort, just tuck it under the plastic and carpet down one side ! good luck

Well on your HU there should be a wire called a "Remote Cable" which you wire up to your amp and when you switch your HU on and off that controls when the amp does too.

How is yours wired?

didnt really want to do that, but if thats the only way....

just wire the power cable into any switched live from the ignition. that way it'll only be on when the ignitions on.

hi, i need a device which can switch off my amp when its not in use, i dont want to use a in dash switch as i want a minimal of wires/switches in the car, i understand about switching wires but im using a standard head unit so there is no switching output.
any suggestions?
