my amp goes to my cigarette lighter ignition live...nothing near the boot at all, its only a thin wire u need so wont take much effort, just tuck it under the plastic and carpet down one side ! good luck

Well on your HU there should be a wire called a "Remote Cable" which you wire up to your amp and when you switch your HU on and off that controls when the amp does too.

not that i can think of off the top of me head. though you can always run one from the back of the headunit or the ignition switch itself.

just wire the power cable into any switched live from the ignition. that way it'll only be on when the ignitions on.

hi, i need a device which can switch off my amp when its not in use, i dont want to use a in dash switch as i want a minimal of wires/switches in the car, i understand about switching wires but im using a standard head unit so there is no switching output. |
