Best bet is 2.0 or V6 brakes. Both work very well.

When i was racing my m8 with his C500 (and he couldn't get away  ), we came up2 a roundabout very quicly. He jumped on the anckers and stopped. I tryed the same but there was nothing there. I just pushed the radiator out about 6ft, LoL.

My brakes are grooved. 1st time i've had grooved discs and not impressed.

I have noticed a lot in my corsa wen im going over back roads where im having to use my brakes a lot they fade away, never really bothered me until the other day wen some granny came out of nowhere and my brakes were hopeless. Whats the best method around this, bigger brakes or drilled and grooved discs with better pads? Oh its a 1.4.16v corsa i have:thumbs: cheers
