Though most people will keep the standard compression ratio and just use oversize pistons. Raising the compression ratio is really in the race spec area of things. | |

Does it have standard pistons? If so the compression ratio is standard. | |

im unsure what the comp ratio is and need to try and find out what it is how is it done and advise? | |

You only need to use a standard one unless you have raised the compression ratio of it... | |

when i took the head off it had a layered steel 1 on which im unsure what kind it is coz im sure the standard 1 is not steel | |

Use a standard one. Ring Autovaux, they can supply an OE one for good money. | |

can any body recomend what headgasket i should use on my tb'd xe standard or is there i thinner 1 which will raise the comp that little bit more |
