Hi guys hoping you can help me here...

currently getting around 60 miles to approx 10 litres, now before my car had a service a few weeks ago i did 345 miles with about a 1/4 left.. so i im pretty sure i should be able to get more than the 60 now.

Symptons then..

  1. Petrol smell on startup, fades a bit when warm but still noticable
  2. No sign of any leaking fluids at all.. kept in garage to easyish to spot
  3. No EML light at all, comes on during startup then goes as normal

Thats it really, im guessing its a sensor but have no leads to go on..

although during the service the fuel system was flushed, no idea what this entails but i suppose it could have affected it although after nearly a month i would say its had enough time to 'settle' now..

Finally... on the inlet manifold theres what seems to be a plug with nothing connected.. had a scan of the haynes but its not much use can anyone shed any light at all?

    Cheers!
    James
