Its where the motor goes into the bottle, little black rubber bung. Pull that out and it will probably be full of gunge.

Is that on the tank, or in the pump? I didnt clean any filters, just cleaned the outside of the tank.

Right, took the whole washer tank out, as it was manky anyway! Just remove the scuttle panel, loosen the bolt holding the tank down, then it pulls out from the arch. Gave it a scrub then, I wanted it clean

Anyway, gave the pump a wacking with a rubber hammer, and its working . Not very good mind you, the water is only just reaching the windscreen, I think they are clogged, so ill clean them out! The back one is a bit better, but ill get a needle or something and clear out any shite in them!

Try not to buy a new one. They are bloody expensive.

check to see if any of the pipes or the little jets are blocked as my rear one is exactly the same and someone suggested it to me :)

If u got a 1.2 then i think your water bottle is located on the top passenger side of the engine bay. u won't need to take the inncer arches off u should be able to access the motor directly on the water bottle. unplug the plug first then remove it from the water bottle then disconnect the plastic pipes but remember which one went where (there should only be 2 pipes)

put the new motor in and reverse the procedure....

Ahhh good, thats OK then.

Thanks

where the hell is the washer bottle on corsa gsi's is it not where they put it on the 1994 corsa merits - under scuttle panel

Oh god, the inner arches :o

I tried to take the drivers inner arch off today to take off the arch, and my god, the inner arch will not budge at all. Just cracks if I try to pull it off, and I cant get the little black pop screw things to come out :(

p.s those instruction above are from a 1.6 16v sport engine bay

just changed mine last month. mine did the same thing...no noise and no water. The motor is easy to locate but u need to take the passenger side wheel arch liner out and then the white water bottle. the motor is slotted into the bottle.

If i remember right the GM part is £30ish from vaux dealer. i couldn't find one cheaper cause i got told by a few shops that it was a 'vaux dealership only' part

Yes try a new pump, or at least check if there is a feed going to the pump.

Hi,
Both my front & rear window washers are not working. I have checked all the fuses in the fuse box, but there is none blown. The washers don't seem to make any noise at all, maybe a faulty pump?
