My mate had a similar problem wen he adjusted his hand brake cable, when he adjusted it the brake pedal pretty much hit the floor. Coudl be a possibilty. Another coudl be just needs fluid pumped to the brakes, i chnaged the caliper on my old escort and the pedal hit the deck a few times then stiffined up once i had pumped it a few times. Also have you left a bleed screw lose or not quite tight enough, check for any leaks on the bits you replaced as brakes are pretty vital! Hope this is of help

a have just changed all ma pipes and the flexes to braided, a have bled them till no air in the system, am runing 288mm on the front and std on the rear but the pedel travels to far and the brakes are crap any ideas whats up with it cheers ..
