cheers got it done easy just followed wot u sed and was pritty much straight forward took me about half an hr and saved me £55 quid cheers mate

pretty easy to do take the air box out on the alternator bracket theres a 13mm that holds a little block, loosen that a bit and theres another long bolt the 10mm which is a pig to get at, that needs slackening right of as that puts the tension on the belt. after that give the belt a good tug and you should have enough slack to get it off. not sure about the exact tension when you put the belt back on i have always done them so theres about half a inch of movement in the belt each way if you give it a wiggle. :thumbs:

13mm and 10 mm spanner its about 10 mins of a job max. as said the belt is around a fiver so your paying 55 quid labour for a 10 min job.

ive been quoted £60quid for a fan belt change including labour just wondered if this was resonable or not. cheers
