sorted the map sensor problem - was connected to the wrong part!

but is fine for a while, took for a very short spin, and will not rev just bogde down

codes

P1640 Quad driver module
P0230 Fuel pump voltage low
P0325 Knock signal ciruit
P0505 IAC

Quad drive module is an ECU fault, which was also diagnosised by someone else first of all

got to check earths first, but has anyone else had the same fault?

have you tried a different MAP sensor?

might have to take you up on that - going to start checking over car this week

problem iv got is it runs with out the MAP sensor pluged in! as soon as you plug it in it cuts out. Someone has done a head gasket, and i can see the an earth wire is off, so could be something really simple

reason i think its an ECU is he took it to garage and they diagnosted it as that

Theoretically, yes.

I have an X14XE ECU, chips and transponder ring in my garage, doing nothing, if you need it?

got a corsa with a possible ECU fault (need to invesigate to make sure first)

can get one off a x14xe sri, which he says doesn't need a transponder chip????

anyway are these interchangeable with ones with immobilsers? what do i need to know?
