well, its sunny today so i 'attempted' to remove my ICV, what a ballache that was.....couldnt remove the mantzel, as one or the bolts is very close to rounding the head off..
so tried to remove it in situe....couldnt get to the difficult torx without removing the TB....and the tb wont come of without removing the mantzel :| pah!

so i opted for spraying some carb cleaner into the icv hole (in the TB)...but it didnt work...il think ill live with it untill in packs up completely

I had a weird idle and was running on three all because of the gasket between my mantzel and throttle body had ripped and had been sucked in a bit and was covering the icv port but leaking air at the same time. Try that. If it gets light!!!

Ive had ICV problem's on my x16xe, and no time did the EML come on, take it out and clean it as its very easy to get too with your set up and re-fit :).

after taking my corsa out for a quick spin......its decidded it doesnt want to idel at junctions anymore :(

idle drops to around 1100 rpm, then will drop to 800, then drop to nothing and stall...

or sometimes it will jump between 800 and 1000rpm..

ideas?

*cant hear an air leak, hopefully not ICV (eml isnt on)......:boggle:
