how shall i heat them??

im not sure if the ring is actually damaged though!! as i was told that was the reason why my abs light is on!
why are these hard to get hold off?? vauxhall should surely sell them??

and how much you think new ones would cost??

I had to replace so many of my brake lines as when i took them all out to have the car painted, all the nuts rounded off, wank build quality!

just heat them and put a leaver under the ring and it will come off only cool them down when you put them on the new drums

you heat them up then cool them down rapidly, that causes the outer ring to stretch momentarily,,,then you flip it off

I tried everything inc heating them up but due to the age of the drum and buildup of rust and brake dust it was impossible to get them off without them bending slightly

erm.....you need to sweat them off with oxycelelene

I bought new drums for my old GSI and they came without rings. they are a nightmare to get out of the old ones and bend very easily. even if they are very slightly bent they wont work.

I tried everwhere to get the rings seperately but couldnt. I ended up binning the abs as it was crap anyway:(

oh no!
coz apparently its the abs ring that is damaged in my old drums!!

how much do the abs rings cost??

the abs ring is inside the drum in the centre.
New drums tend not to come with them you have to swap them from your old drums but be careful they are fragile.
