Or, failing that, a new ecu, transponder and chips (which will be about as much as the new key)

If you have the card in your glovebox still with the codes and chassis number in relation for your car you can get a new key made up at Vaux IIRC.

I got quoted £44 for a spare key!

Loads of money :lol:

I got one for £11 eventually from a private key place!

Come to think of it I dont have a spare key for mine! Can these only be bought from vauxhall? (chip type key)

cant find the chip as it happened outside and been windy as fook all day! typical! And unfortunatley no spare key.

Right went to start the car today and no joy, just flashing engine managment light.

I now beleive this to be the immobiliser, makes sense that i dropped my keys at half 5 this morning and opened up in the dark, now ive looked at the key theres no chip in there which is now lost.

What an absolute pain in the arse as i cant start the car, where and how much is a new chip and i beleive it needs programming??
