They make the back end of the car really twitchy under heavy braking. Really not good, I have experienced it several times and it's not nice...

cheers for the replys so far, think il ring just novas and corsas tomorrow to find out for definate,just got a 2.0 xe in got v6 brakes up front so want to look the part at the rear

think a nova hand brake cable is the won to use iirc. also some insurance companies wont rear discs if over 180bhp? i think?

just to look better really and im half way there now on buying bits for the conversion

Agree with the above. Decent front brakes are sufficient for the vast majority of Corsas.

dont do it- corsa rear drums are fine as they are and dont need to be any more powerful. or are you just wanting the rear brakes to look better?

hi im after some help im doin a rear disc conversion,ive got a astra gte rear axle complete and mounting brackets but what else is needed to do it?? handbrake cable??
