I have changed the gearbox and found out the same problem after few months :(

do you mean clutch release bearings??

ie, the noise dissapears when you press the clutch, and comes back when you release it in neutral/in gear??

just do the clutch at the same time...

really really doubt its a gearbox problem itself unless its done astronomical mileage and/or been abused...

unless you no what your doing, its easier to change the gearbox, only £30 for a second hand box

I have a wining sound in my gearbox and found out that the gearbox bearings are on there way out did ever some changed the gearbox bearing ?
