ive done that many now i do it with my eyes closed no point straining to see,

just get somit comfy to lie on and work slowly throu it

"feel your way" - thats the one
Takes a while cos its all abit tight, but you can do it. the top bolt was a complete bi-atch when i done it lol

i might put it back together and just put it into vauxhall to get the starter motor fitted.

think the gear linkage gets in the way mate.It is easier without the linkage but can be done with both linkage and gearbox in place.:wave:

can the starter motor be changed when the gearbox is on and how much more difficult does it make it? i have the gearbox off rite now but the starter motor isnt going to come till thursday or friday. by this time i could have the gearbox back on and everything working.
