ah, ok, the TPS is the smaller one, which lines up with the spindle on the throttle butterfly.

the ICV is also on the throttle body, but it's not central.

pretty easy to differentiate when you're looking at it ;)

The TPS on the Astra will be the same as the Corsa one.

Not sure on the last question, sorry.

yeah fitted a new CTS the other week.

I chucked 1/2 a can of carb cleaner down it the other day which helped a bit but ill do it properly tonight.

Change the ICV too, or clean it, while the TB is off.

My X16 used to overfuel, lots.

Have you had a new CTS?

Thanks Rob :) Was worried they wouldn't suit the silkviolet but i think they look better than speedlines!

Im gonna change the TPS tonight... i dont fancy paying £30 a day in fuel!

off topic, but Rob, those wheels look fantastic on your car.

my dodgy TPS made my C14SE overfuel like a fucker.

my XE corsa was overfueling due to faulty TPS sensor m8. was only getting 50miles to £10.

You cant really put it on wrong, it will only fit 1 way and if you fitted it upside down the screws wouldnt line up so id definately say NO you cant fit it wrong.

Any other ideas?

A buggered one would maybe cause overfueling, the ecu thinking the throttles wide open when its half closed so it injects more fuel than needed....

Not sure you can fit them wrongly tho, whenever ive fitted one i've just bunged it straight on,lol.

Can you fit these wrongly???

Also would a wrongly fitted or buggered one cause a huge overfueling issue..... when i mean huge overfueling i mean 125 miles to a tank!

Thanks Rob
