afterarket, all that will happen will be the date section will go out when the radio is on, but time and temp should still work...

also this multuplus, what color is the plug on it, and how big is it?? may be that whoever fitted the stereo if it wasnt yourself pulled the loom down for the mfd so one reason its not working...

if thats the case, then the socket on the mfd may be buggered and you may need a replacement... i have 2 spare :)

Ok cheers mase, does the wiring for this plug in behind the radio as theres a multi plug unplugged behind there, not sure what its for?

so it could be the bulbs at the back (2 off) or the wiring is knackard. Take the cover off it and check the state of the bulbs an that.... easy job, only 2 screws.

Nothing is lit up at all on it

if nothing is lighting up it could just be the bulbs that have gone, or as stated above the connectors could have broke

Is the time or temperature showing at all ?? if there not, chances are it'll be the wiring connector or the display itself that has gone, as both are fairly fragile on older cars, cos when I had my alarm fitted, all they did was move it a little and it broke altogether.

If the time and temperature are showing and you want the middle of it to display the date, see this tutorial :

Any ideas which fuse it is? Is it hard wired straight into car loom as theres a plug behind stereo thats not plugged in with bout 3 pins in it (didnt take note of wire colour though)

It should work with whatever stereo mate, have you checked its plugged in properly? Checked the fuse for it? It may just have gone knackered in which case you need a new one.

Take a look in the Classifieds section for the GSI kit or keep your eyes peeled on Ebay.

Hi guys, im quite new on here, just bought a corsa 1.4 sport. Its got a non standard stereo in it, and the display thingy at the top of the dash that shows radio station, temp, time etc isnt working.

Is there any way to get this working with a non standard stereo fitted? Any help would be appreciated.

Oh also im after a full gsi bodykit for it if anyone within say 40-50 miles of Northwich, Cheshire has one for sale (and possible a set of morettes)??

Cheers Daz
