if it's had new tyres, like Dean says, chances are the pressures are too high.

My EPS is terrible trying to park or when the car is at idling speeds - speed up the engine revs and the steering gets more power

the steering can feel light if the alignment/tracking is out. This should be apparent at all speeds though.

Steering does get lighter at high speeds. Do you drive on motorways often?

My 1997 corsa has recently gone a bit strange with regards steering. |
