i solved mine with a can of anti belt slip spray. I feel this will only be tempery though. Although mine is tight and fairly new.

sorry to hijack the thread, but mine has a squeek in the mornings when its cold and damp... it disappears when it warms up (well after a minute or 2 really)... What could this be, as the aux belt looks in fairly good order... Could it be the auto tensioner (no power steering or air con) ?? If so, could i do anything about this apart from getting a new one ?? Is there anyway of lubricating the bearings in it ??

Try adjusting it first, if it still squeels then time for a new belt.

wen it wet and have blowers on and start moving forward sumtimes a really loud screeching sound happens. very annoying and embarrasing lol. thought that was fan belt?

wasnt aware corsa's had a fan belt :look:

If your after an auxillery belt then yes halfords sell them. not sure on how they fit, because it different on each engine

halfords and yes easy to fit. Get a haynes manual while you are there :)

Where can i get a new one from for corsa b 1997? and is it easy to fit any descriptions cheers.
