piston rings or stem seals. neither are cheap. get a leakdown compression test done to find out which is the problem or better still do both anyway while the head is off.

I know its been covered a couple of times on here and its kind of standard for corsa to burn a bit of oil, But my corsa is burning it quite alot, id say near on to a litre a week, kicks out a bit of smoke in first gear and then after that in higher revs, its definitely burning it off as there are no leaks to be found anywhere, been told could be oil stem seals? and they are costly? any help appreciated thanks
