So can you get away with blanking it off without it failing a MOT or running shit? | |

Heres a pic of mine. If you look at the front of the box, there is a metal pipe that runs down the side of the engine. This is to link the EGR port with the inlet. They supply you with a EGR plate with a take off for this on it. That's how Mantzel reckon you should do it. | |

i never understood whih was the egr. i blanked the port on the inlet manifold and passed mot fine. | |

It comes with a EGR blanking plate. Now, I've asked a few people and they say if you blank the EGR off, it will run the like a bag of shit, and fail the MOT on emissions. How true is this? |
