just tighten each bolt bit by bit, too 8nm, which is hand tight a LITTLE nip if you dont have a torque wench

and we normaly use black sealant on the end caps

did all that except the red hermatite an wots the tightenin sequence 4 the camcover

remove and refit the cam seals, only 3 quid each. as for the cam gasket replace that as well. make sure you tighten the cam cover bolts up in the correct sequence and to the correct tightness, so many people over/under tighten them in the wrong sequence!

remember to put a smear of hermatite red in the correct places as well, mainly against the end cam bearing caps where they meets the head, ensuring not to block the oilways.

HELP my fekin x16xe is pushin oil out from camcover i checked both crank- camcover breathers an there ok an the little camcover-inlet breather is clear.
it pushes oil out from camshft oil seals an camcover its really buggin me is there more breathers???? or has anyone had this problem befor if so any suggestions welcome thankyou.:(
