i do tend to put my foot down a bit, never go more than 4000 or 5000 rpm.

How do you drive the car? Sedately or agressively? An engine that has never been run in properly will wear the pistons away and use more oil. I think thats right.

theres no blue smoke coming out no. maybe i put my foot down too much??

Do you get blue gas/smoke coming out your exhaust? If your cars drinking that much i'd imadgine that the piston rings or the valve oil seals are gone. Is there any oil mixing with your water? it will look like mayonaise on your oil filler cap and in the coolant expansion tank.

anyone find that their corsa uses alot of oil very quickly? i have a 1.6 sport and it seems to get through so much oil.

i drove about 300 miles on weekend and the oil level was on min after and i filled it up before.
