the bodyshop that did mine used a brand new one from ford as there one of the strongest, think the mk3 fiesta came with them on | |

if it only opens half way then you have to push your boot open at the same time it pops. | |

you have to have a solenoid, then you can either wire it up to just a switch and put it on the dash or somewhere, or you can do what i have done and put it on the rear wiper stalk which makes it look alot neater | |

i've took the wiper and boot lock handle offf the outside of my boot but kept the plate recess. |
