just got offered an f15 with brand new GM clutch in box for 30quid so took it

nooooo rob rob rob! I was just saying thats the reason for GETTING the other gearbox as it was a bargain f15 WITH new gm clutch still in its cardboard box

aaaah so it should be fine in a box off a L reg gsi then? sounds gooood as the box I sourced has a brand new gm clutch

rob i had the 1.4 transducer on there worked fine, i took it off to fit the 2.0l box and it works fine too!

you can fit a transducer alright. the 1.4 one may not work right though...

i know some of the guys with 2.0 conversions had to try different ones till they go the speedo to read correctly...

rite quickie question time...can I fit a transducer etc out of a 1400 sport gearbox to an older c16xe engine and box just by unscrewing the sender parts bolted to the gearbox and swapping them over? many thanks in advance :thumbs:
