i control it through a relay-you are going to be pulling about 40amps through one wire by purely fitting an inline switch, much safer to pull it on through a switch relay combination which will probably pull 3-4 amps through one wire.

I removed the plug from the fan switch in the rad and ran the wires from there into a switch.

anyone who has wired a switch to thier fan could you tell me all details,
did you run power straight come battery?
did u use a fuse?
what watt wire did you use?
ect ect
