i know its not specifically corsa related but i just wondered if anyone could help me with a problem i have, it is with the indicators on a 1972 vw beetle, i tried searching for a beetle forum but with not much luck unfortunatly.

when the hazard switch is connected and then i attatch the terminal for the indicator stalk (on the steering column) the flasher units starts beeping like crazy, but if i was to turn the indicator on, or flash the lights etc, this beeping goes away, but then it comes back once the indicator stalk is at neutral. it sounds to me like there is a feed coming form somewhere that it shouldnt

sorry for the vague description, but any help would be much appreciated, thanks
