i think i worked out that the code on the ecu BRNY needs to match the superchip code BJUM. I think I need t get an ECU with the Code BJUM on it for this chip to work :( Dont suppose anyone has one of these Ecu's for sale do they? | |

not a dead battery.. it sounds like an immobiliser problem.. with the chip in the ecu not being recognised | |

ok i fitted it but the car wont turn over. It just makes a clunk noise :( | |

depends on the year the ecu was made in. most cars 1996> need to be flash programmed rather than have the eprom itself replaced. | |

I was given a superchip for an x16xe a while back but have never got round to using the thing. I only want it to raise the rev limit until i save up for a unichip or similar remappable system. Anyways would this just plug into the ecu and everything will work, or will it need to be reprogrammed to my car on a rolling road at a superchips outlet? |
