it might be a earth wire that isn't connected. Does sound like an electrical problem. Make sure all the connectors are put back correctly after replacing the head.

press the valve on the fuel rail, that shoud let the pressure out and give u fuel, when u turn the ignion on , do u hear the fuel pmp prime?

lol nope

last time when i replaced the camshaft the same thing happened it wouldnt start, but i got some jump leads and charged the battery a bit and tried starting it and it started up, so just waiting on my rents getting home so i can try it again, fingers crossed it will, because i cant really see any other reason for it not starting, as it was started yesterday and everything is the same apart from the new head and spark plugs

i dont know how do i check it? the car is stil on the ramps sitting back at an angle with bout 5 - 10 pounds worth in it, could that be causing the fuel pump not to suck any out the tank?

1.4 sri 1993, nope there not wet or anything. thing is the car was running yesterday, but a valve was fucked so i had to replace the head, i have put everything back on same way i took it off, but it just wont start, the car is still up on the ramps, could this stop the fuel gettin through?

what do you mean, the end of the spark plugs, or where i plug the leads in to, thing is though, i tried putting my old spark plugs in and it did the same thing, its asif the fuel isnt igniting, or even any fuel getting through, how can i check there is a spark? because it could be my distributor, the car just turns over, doesnt make any attempt at starting

check the gaps on the spark plugs m8y they might be too small to spark or to wide to jump

well i have replaced my head and gaskets etc, bought some new spark plugs done an oil change etc, but when i went to start the car it wont start, it turns over and sounds ok, but wont even try to start even when i pump the accelerator i get nothing, is this my spark plugs that are failing? how do i check them?

plus anther thing after turning the car over a few time, i removed the spark plugs and they werent even warm.
