I paid £220 for a G-Max suspension kit 4 years ago from one of the mail order companies advertising in Total Vauxhall.

You shouldn't get rubbing from a -30/-40mm drop.

Its standard, im geting 16" rims on, so if i lower it then will i get rubbing? If not then how low -30mm? And is it woth puting a tortion bar across the front?

What suspension set up do you have? By improving the handling you will be able to corner quicker, thus effectively improving your performance.

Doubt what you want.

After fitting his exhaust and pvd filter he could almost keep up with me, I would still pull away but there really wasn't a lot in it.

Sorry but I doubt that very much!

I have a 1.2 first car and all, they aren't that bad! I went down the road of induction kits etc, i just run it standard now. I drilled my airbox and was filling up all the time, it was rinsing my cash. Ive got the car running standard engine set up now. And that is how it will stay until i get my MG. Yay

I have an induction kit on my 1.2 and it made about 0.8bhp difference.

yesh 1.2's are wank! i agree with all the above comments, look after your 1.2 and upgrade in the future!

run it, keep it maintained to a high standard, few things such as air flow meters etc have a tendancy to go wrong..

save up and get a 1.4/1.6 with a bit more poke
