That's interesting, thanx
so any idea what bhp/torque for a healthy C20XE with a green cotton filter, no cat, a very freeflow exhaust and a lambda sensor?

to be honest your prob better to keep the lambda anyway, it is the cat that causes the power loss the lambda is there to make sure the car is running right.

Might want to read this

i had a 20xe ecu on my c20xe with a c20 loom and no lamda sensor .. got 128bhp at wheels so didnt affect power but sometimes chugged and splutterd if you tried to boot it when cold .. duno if thats what caused it tho .. didnt bother me to much :)

Motronic 2.5 on 20xe and early c20xe (with dizzy) runs 2.5 bar fuel pressure and cream injectors some have lambda some dont

On dizzyles you have motronic 2.8 which has a differnt TPS 3 FPR and uses blue injectors

I think if you earth pin 20 on the ecu the lambda is not used, then you need to use the CO POT on the AFM to set the mixture (be worth checking the pin on mig wouldnt like to cause anyone to blow up there ecu!!)

If u have a C20XE and don't have a cat, if u leave the lambda sensor unplugged does the ecu revert to 20XE power levels?
R the ecus different?
Is there a physical/mechanical difference between the 2?
Apart from the porous/non porous head
