right so i will need a transponder out of the car and the keys for the car? im a bit confused to how these transponder things work to be honest i just thot it would be a case of engine out, engine in, plug it in and booya its done. Getting a garage to do it anyway, ecu shouldnt be too hard to come by i dont think. If anyone else can think of anyhting else please post, cheers guys. P.S. Hey dez

dont bother with the X14 head, its got smaller ports, so you'll be making an X16XEL

Hey guys and girls, just wondering if some1 out there could help me out? I have a 1998 corsa with a 1.4 sport engine(X14XE) and i have had no end of problems with it so iv decided to purchase a 1.6 sport engine(X16XE), was just wondeing will it go straight into place without having to get a different gearbox, ecu etc? Also would bits like cylinder head and timing belt fit onto the X16XE engine from thje X14XE engine? Cheers guys and girls. |
