i had this problem on a standard sport NOT lowered. Noticed the 2 rubbers looked a bit streched so i took it bk to the garage n the bloke put a couple of cable ties round the 2 rubbers that hold the back box worked a treat and it dont hit the axel nemore | |

I had a new section made up with the bend moved slightly further back and made wider - so it cleared the axle - wasnt bad - £120 and still shiny now two years on | |

i ended up putting a bycicle tyre (20cm piece) along the rear axle and seccured it with a few pieces of wire wrapped round. | |

only way i sorted mine out was buying an exhaust system. you may be able to tighten the pipe up, but i doubt you'll get far | |

i have lowerd my car 60mil and have put a sportex backbox on it and it now hits the axel all the time is there any way i can get more clearence because at the moment there is none |
