check your spark plugs, if they are not black and sooty then you may just have a small hole in your exhaust or maybe some baffles came loose, this can cause the same probs you mentioned

oh wow lol this stuff aint easy is it i dont even know what the lambada looks like and other

this value is more likely to be closer to the one the engine needs to run properly than the one that is being given by a faulty sensor

the ecu gives itself a value rather than getting one from the sensor (as the sensor isnt plugged in)

sorry i have no clue what you mean predetermined value

try unplugging the lambda. this will cause the ecu to give a pre-determined value in its place. its a good method to start testing it. do the same with the afm

nope none come on what so ever

it really sucks i just want it running nice

well gonna have to buy an afm and lambada as well see if this helps as by looks of it if i dont my engine will die

Dave A

on a c16xe its the most likely cause. also look at the afm. getting any management lights?

yep engine management is fine thats fully set up

apart from the overfueling everything seems to be running ok

so would the lambada thing cause overfueling

hes full of shit. (as we have already learned from previous posts about this 'mechanic')

before even thinking about a re-map get the problem of it running rich sorted. is your em light working ok?

Basscrazy

how do i find out i just got told it would need a remap? so does it need to go to a garage again?

Dave A

doesnt need a re-map. find out why its overfuelling first. its likely to be lambda.

Basscrazy

got a manztel and enlarged bodies on so obviously ecu not mapped for these

my car smokes los but ot told it was fuel because of the colour of it i know its overfueling because i have lovely flames when it pops

would a remap sort this and where exactly do you go for a remap and what costs

if remapped and the smoke is fuel with me having no cat etc then will it be a lot less with a remap?
