you can check the level of the gearbox oil. on the side of the gearbox ( next to the passenger side wheel). There is a allen key bolt. When you remove this, a small trickle of gearbox oil should come out, if it doesn't, you need to top it up at the top of the gearbox.

id try resetting it first... if that dont work... get down to the scrapp and wip one off another corsa... there all the same...

then if that dont work you need to start looking at the clutch...

adjust the clutch cable... sounds like the clutch is dragging

the bite is rite at the floor, so its a worn linkage then ?

sorry, wrong choice of words, i mean gearbox fluid could be leaking. I had a blonde moment.

When you are driving forwards does it sound like you are in reverse. If so could be the synchromesh.

clutch fluid :boggle: corsas are all cable operated clutches

If the neutral line has gone mega wobbly, worse than normal possibly just gear linkage. Could be clutch also if its struggling to go into gear.

corsa b mate, 1.4 8v p reg
you have to use such brute force to get in into0 gears and thats just 1st & 2nd have not even attempted 3rd etc, lol and some times it wil not go at all, what is up with it ? could it be the clutch is worn so much, dont no if its ever been done and car is on 102k miles

Joe

Corsa B or C? Sounds like it may be gear linkage, if its a Corsa C i'd say it defo will be
