The engine loom will, provided it's from a mk3 it will be seperate from the car loom. I don't know if the corsa will have a seperate engine loom though.

If you're getting the whole car swap the engine loom over aswell, it's seperate from the car loom on astra's

loom should fit from mpi engine only thing is different that intake temp sensor fouls header tank as its in the plenum chamber on an astra and the injector rail is different

im askin as im not sure, iv done engine conversions on fiats where all you have to do is swap the ecu and split the wires from the spi to each of the injectors on the mpi.
has anyone got any useful info?

I really think you should let somebody else do the conversion:o

cos i can get the whole car for less than £50 and seen as im a mechanic i can changed the engine over for free then when i have more money i might drop a bigger engine in there.
anyone else got any info for the swap?
cheers

no it shud fit straight in.just check if the 1.4 has a crank sensor then check if ur 1.2 does.if the 1.4 does and the 1.2 dosent or vice versa u will need 2 change the loom.put the 1.4 gear box in aswell it shud give u better gear ratios.

iv been checking up on the forum and iv figured the engine i can get is a c14se.
so if it is ill need the fuel pump ecu etc for the car to run
will these parts from the astra fit onto the corsa ok, are the fuel pumps different or do i need a corsa sri pump?
cheers

right after rolling my last car iv picked up a v cheap 1.2 8v corsa.
its in pretty good condition so im thinking of putting a bigger engine in there and keeping it.
for now i dont have much mioney, the cost of labour isnt important as im a mechanic and can do it myself.

anyway i can get a 1.4 astra on a j plate for £40, the engine in it is 1.4 mpi now i need to know what i need fromt he astra for the engine to work in the corsa. also is the 1.4mpi the same as the corsa sri 8v engine?
cheers
