when i did my mates i bonded the arches on with tigerseal and lots of it, and then used the original bolts from inside the arch and bolted them on, then i used fibreglass and bridged all the gaps and then just skims of filler over top

sound alot better than filler. I presume that most ppl just use filler than doing it the proper way you suggested?

If i were you i'd take the plastic trims off, cut the metal acrhes all the way around about 2-3 inches apart, pull them out and weld the gaps that are left, then just smooth them slightly, this would be needed anyway.

IMO i wouldn't use all that filler, plastic expands and contracts at different rates to metal in the summer months and could cause havoc.

Rite i have seen this done on alot of ppls corsa's here on the site. I presume its a matter of using filler and ALOT of time and work. Looks quite tidy though. Anyone who has this mod on their car, can you tell me, how badly prone is it to cracking? Will be respraying my corsa in the spring, considering to smooth in the arches, but i presume the SOB will be forever cracking, espically here on N.I country roads. Whats ppl expereince of this?
