you can cut the mounting bits off the side of the ecu, should make it about an inch smaller :thumbs:

its not that hard to get it behind the kick pannel :boggle: do what SRi-Co says and cut any brackets or whatever off the xe ecu.

Get Lee Mitchell to do it, he is the only person I have ever seen who has managed to get the bloody thing to fit behind the kick pannel :lol:

great anti-theft, unplug ecu, and take it with you :lol:

Totally gut the area behind the kick panel, rip out any clips or ties, there was a bit of wood on mine too, and it will just about go in :lol:

How the hell do you get the ECU back behind the trim?

The new ECU is much bigger than the original one...is there some magic way of doing it that i don't know about?
