:o na didn't do that lol as the car was not going to be moved for a while i chose to do that at a later date.

It could leak from the oil filter... Though you would have changed that when you did the sump gasket?

Could a blocked or old oil filter cause this?

got an oil leak, coming out the sump after a run and that was changed not long ago :boggle.

also drops onto the starter motor, pipes look fine tho.
