de-cat will do naff all unless you do other mods such as new inlet etc...

if you are planning on tuning with a new inlet or throttle bodies, get a de-cat. if not, get a cat-back.

De-cat will be better for performance as they less resistrictive, bare in mind they are not road legal, emissions will be higher and your car will fail its MOT with a decat on.

I only have a backbox on mine.

Does me, as I can't stand super loud exhausts.

ive bin lookin in the new demon teeks mag and have seen a magnex full system (cat back) for £299.

i have a cat back and a cat

have tried a decat, then a silenced decat, but ended up finding marginal difference, so went back to a cat

decat

well you can fit both, either a cat back on its on with the cat, or a cat back with a decat pipe.

the decat is spose to free up some power, but i just found mine was louder, so changed it back

cheers mate. so which would be better for peformance??:o

cat back bolts on to exhaust after the cat, keeping cat in place

decat is a pipe that fills the gap left when you remove the cat
