The oil cooler is thermostatically controlled
The sandwich plate is held on by a longer oil filter thread with a flange roughly halfway down its length

As for pipe fittings... no a clue sorry

Hello!

Looking for info on the following:

What are the sizes of the conections (BSP) on a standard early C20XE oil cooler sandwich plate?
Is the standard sandwich plate thermostatically controlled?

Any general info on fitting the plate? Does the plate just screw onto the filter housing, then the filter to the plate? If not.... how?

Thanks for any help :)
