hi mate, i am pretty sure the hydraulic lifters are interchangable with x14xe/x16xe/c16xe/c20xe/x25xe ect. u might want to double check but they should be the same... chris | |

could anyone tell me if by any chance the hydraulic valve lifters on a c20xe are the same ones in a x14xe as i baught a full set for my corsa trying to cure a ticking noise altho with the new ones installed it continued to tick and later developed into more of a knock :o so wasnt the lifters.. anyway i now have a mk3 astra gsi with a c20xe and it ticks like a fiesta whenever its started from cold and wont go away till the engine is warmed up. just wondered if the old lifters i took out of my corsa x14xe engine would be compatible with my c20xe as they are in good condition with no scoring on them and would hope tht this would cure the ticking from cold for awhile. could anyone help me out with this one at all? thanks, Gaz |
