vaux 3 wire ones as on c20xe's are heated anyway.

get it from audi, they are a little bit more expencive, not sure it is worth it in your case.... wiring is simple.... think from audi they are £150.... i didnt get it from audi however. go to a motor factors and get a universal one. usually about £30 ish

i now have a lambda off an anudi, its four wire wide band, has a little heater in it so it works from cold etc......

is it a pre-cat engine, or has it had a de-cat ?

you can put a pin of the ecu to ground disabling lambda, can't remember what pin it is though

I have an astra gsi c20xe and the ecu light came on last night for about 10 mins during a long journey. i have just done the paperclip test and it has shown code 13 which is oxygen sensor.

My question is, my car has not got a cat, would this be the reason why the oxygen sensor has come up?
Also would oxygen sensor cause hesitation when cold?
