Water pump: £40 + an extra 15 mins fitting it.

New engine: £500-1000

Up to you really. I know what I would choose.

if its still good not.. but if it brakes down with the engine running...

you dont wanna have that.. so if u dont know when it's last been replaced.. DO IT!!

maybe you'll need some new bolts / etc for the inlet/exhaust manifold if they brake while disassembling..

head gasket
head bolts
coolant
oil

will get belt
do i really need a new water pump

and anything else needed.

get a complete head gasket kit!

it includes all you need exept:

- timingbelt-kit
- waterpump
- headbolts
- oil
- coollant

It's advisable to get the head skimmed and get new valvesterms mounted (included in the head gasket-kit)

my head gasket is on its way out, and needs fixing.

car is running brilliant at the mo but i had a fluid test done on it coz i was loosing water, a fluid test came back positive for the head gasket going, so its only gona get worse.

a mechanic in the family is gona do it for me, but ive got to go and get the bits,

already got, head gasket and 10 new bolts

what else
