Sounds about right. It's a days work or so and at £50/hour for normal labour charges.

hi my head gasket is leaking oil on my 1997 corsa sport 1.4 16V and needs to be replaced have been quoted £400 which includes putting new seals in the oil pump which is also leaking another place quoted me £383 for head gasket alone which includes sending the head off to be pressure tested and skimmed if necessary how much have you lot payed? i guess it also depends alot on your engine type?:boggle::rolleyes::thumbs:
