it might be a good idea to buy a post 97 bumper to save trouble... mine cost me £35 and i sprayed it myself (was 1/2 blue and i wanted 1/2 black) looks a lot better than the pre 97 (which a cat took a chunk out of)

Thats an Opel 97> grille, which is two piece. Open the bonnet, undo the two bolts to the top side of the grille then apply horizontal pressure to the bottom of the grille.

I'm not entirely sure your bumper is the same as that though? What year is the car?

that pic shows a post 97 front bumper, where the grille simply unscrews from the crash panel thing, and then unclips from the bumper. If its a pre-97 bumper, then the grille will have to be cut out before another can be put in.

The front grill on my car has a molded black grill which is attatched to part of the bumper.
