on the back of the headunit u should have a red wire and a yellow wire!

wat you wanna do is cut both of them, put female bullets on the end coming from the car side and male on the ones going into the back of the stereo and put the red to the yellow and the yellow to the red!

this should stop you losing any settings too

I don't want it on all the time time though, as it means I have to remember to turn it off when I get out the car etc! Just be handy sometimes when Im in a car park, or waiting around for a mate, to be able to listen to music, without having to have the engine running? I did used to run it permenantly, but it got on my nerves!

Just connect all the lives up to the permanent battery live.

My headunit is wired in using an Autoleads adaptor, however, I don't have an "accessory position" on my ignition, so the only way I can have my music on is with my engine running! :boggle: Is there any way of fixing/resolving this problem? Or is it one of the joys of owning a basic Corsa B?!

Thats not the proper arrangement is it.
Without checking, red and yellow are live and switched live, orange is normally illumination.
