sounds like the fuel enrichment part of the map isnt being activated whenthe car is cold, possible coolant temperature sensor or an air leak causing it to run lean.

has the car been better on fuel lately than normal?

what would cause this?

When i say bogging the engine just does......nothing, the revs die until i release the throttle. I can get the revs to increase sometimes by blippin the thottle and balancin the clutch??

Any comments welcome :P

P.s thought it my have been the cat which needed replacing anyway but still got the prob.
