gapping them wouldnt cause that unless you dropped them down the bore and closed the gap up alot .
most plugs nowadays are pregapped to most cars. it would only cause a misfire under load anyway

Right, i just changed my plugs and when i came to start engine, it ran for bout 5 seconds then cuts out, does this mean i have the wrong spark plugs?
