The manafold for the carbs is from SBD about £100 max.
The ignition module, will probably be off the same as the distributor, mk2/3 astra 1.6 8v or cav 2.0l 8v, someone correct me if i'm wrong only going off what ive been told.

I have a coil that i can use, which module do i require?

Also, where did you get your manifold from to convert to carbs?

Yes thats right, nice recon there might purchase one myself, have you got the ignition module wiring aswell, ( the wiring plug end that goes into the blue connector) you will need this and a coil

I am also planning this conversion to run my c20xe on 45's. I've purchased this distributor: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4592319053&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Is this the same one as you have? There's 3 wires that need connecting, Red, Black and Green

HI, just want to ask a quick question, the engine's in, i've already asked people how to wire coil, distrivutor up etc. But the engine still does not fire. So i've decided to start from the begining how does all the wiring work. What wires connect where. (Not including alternator or starter motor,)
Just the wiring from where the ECU was, ive got 6 wires disconnected, and also the distributor wiring, what dizzy is needed, cap, and rotor arm, coil. Then what sparkplugs, ht lead and leads do i need, I'm replacing all of this including distribitor.

Here are a couple of photo's to show what stage we've at, at the moment.

This may seem a simple job to some off you but we are used to injection and never delved into carbs before. So some of the question we ask maybe dumb to you but not to use, basics maybe all we need to know. doh!

Any help very appriciated. :!
